A graduate of Hampton University in the field of sociology, Joe Smith takes a unique approach to understanding people, cultures, and the demographics that impact education. Working in education for over 15 years, in many capacities, Joe is known as a K-12 swiss army knife. A husband and father of five, Joe Smith is best known as LineBackerDAD. Striving to increase parent engagement through unique experiences of interaction and disguised learning, Joe travels the states engaging fathers and father figures. Now residing in San Diego, California, Joe’s unique perspective of serving and leading engagement across schools in northern, central, and southern California, offer a unique lens into being a servant leader for students, parents, schools and the community at large.
