This presentation targets how white privilege impacts our education system, policies, curriculum, and how teachers show up in the classroom. It defines white privilege and is explicit with what it is and what it is not.  It encourages everyone to start on an equity journey, to be able to examine what they bring to the classroom or school when they work with students who do not look like them and why it is important for all of us to be willing to have conversations about uncomfortable subjects such as white privilege, equity and systemic racism.
