She holds a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree in Dance from San Diego State University, California teaching credentials in Physical Education and Multiple Subjects with an authorization in Dance, and a Master of Arts in Education degree in Teaching and Learning. Her experience includes 14 years teaching dance in San Diego Unified School District.
